Premedical Track in Computer Science
The computer science major provides an excellent background for medical studies, and the flexibility provided by its many open electives and broadening electives allows students to prepare for medical school while earning a degree in computer science with a normal load in four years. Interested students should discuss their plans with their computer-science advisor in the fall of their 1st year and should meet with Vanderbilt’s Health Professions Advisor, Dr. Robert Baum, Room 207 Student Life Center, 322-2446, hpao@vanderbilt.edu, no later than the spring of their 1st year.
