I am a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Vanderbilt University with secondary appointments in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Psychology and Human Development. I study virtual and augmented reality, particularly those issues related to design based on visual perception and action. I also work broadly in areas of visual computing, including computer graphics and computer animation. I am currently Editor-in-Chief of the ACM Transactions on Applied Perception.
